L'induttore è una bobina attraversata da acqua di raffreddamento e senza questo raffreddamento non è possibile il funzionamento continuo. La scelta si basa sulla potenza da smaltire, sulla portata e sulla temperatura di mandata.

The cooling water runs through live components. Requirements on conductivity and additives therefore come from the manufacturer and are not a design margin. A closed circuit with a recirculating chiller keeps the water quality constant.
