Restoration of a masterpiece

The restoration team uses innovative technologies such as the C100-4.0® compact controller with dispensing function and the D3PPSD-04 precision peristaltic pump with stainless steel housing from S&P.

Application of a temporary potting dam

A low-odour, non-toxic and ammonia-free masking compound is available for this purpose. The material can be removed again after the process and is ideal for precise dam-and-fill applications.

C100-4.0® data logging and linear axes

With the C100-4.0®, process data can be recorded via TCP/IP and linear axes can be controlled using suitable add-on software modules, for flexible and automated processes.

C100-4.0® program selection via TCP/IP

With the C100-4.0®, pneumatic actuators can be easily integrated into dispensing processes. The Program Link add-on software module also enables complex process sequences to be flexibly linked and automated.

C100-4.0® quality control with digital scale

With the C100-4.0®, a digital scale can be integrated directly into the dispensing process. The Connectivity and Program Link add-on software modules enable flexible integration for automated quality control.

D3PPSD-04 dispensing cyanoacrylate (instant adhesive)

The D3PPSD-04 precision peristaltic pump enables dispensing without compressed air and is therefore suitable for low-viscosity materials such as cyanoacrylate. In this video, dispensing is controlled using a foot pedal. Optional dispensing pens with finger switches and adapter cables for connection to dispensing robots are also available.

TR83X00-06 tipFinder for automatic tip alignment

The TipFinder enables electronic adjustment of the dispensing tip offset on the TR83X00-06. The alignment can be performed manually or automatically, reducing the effort required after changing a cartridge or dispensing tip

The eco-DUO450 is used for volumetric dispensing of a custom-shaped gasket. The dispensing path geometry was transferred directly from a DXF file.

Inductive soft soldering at 200 kHz with temperature control

The temperature-controlled soldering process at 200 kHz keeps the temperature below 250 °C, reducing oxidation of the brass. The workpiece can then proceed to the next process step without additional cleaning.
