Heating heads
The heating head brings the energy of the generator into the workpiece. It carries the inductor, a coil with cooling water flowing through it, whose shape decides where the heat forms and how it spreads. It is selected by workpiece geometry and by the process it is built for.

Frequently Asked Questions
It is designed for the intended energy input and for the process. That makes it the part of the system adapted to the task rather than an accessory with fixed sizes.
It determines how much energy arrives and has to be the same from part to part, otherwise the result scatters. That is what the inductor holder is for.
The heat forms where the magnetic field meets conductive material. A coil that encloses a round part heats the circumference. A flat coil acts on the surface beneath it. For a brazed joint the coil is shaped so that the heat forms at the joint and not throughout the part.
The coil carries high currents and has cooling water flowing through it. The cooling capacity is part of the design and not a side condition.
