Refillable dispensing pens apply small amounts by hand and are filled with the medium already in use in production. They replace the open pot at the manual workstation. Selection follows fill volume, tip and compatibility with the medium.

Moisture or air reactive media start to react in the pen once it has been opened. For those systems the pen is filled for the shift and not used as a storage container.
For rework, repair and prototype work, that is wherever no equipment is installed and dispensing happens by hand. The tip sets the width of the application, the pressure on the body sets the amount.
