C100-4.0®
The C100-4.0® is the process controller from H. Sigrist & Partner AG for production, development and research. It processes setpoints, monitors parameters and drives external actuators. Computing unit, digital and analogue inputs and outputs, serial interfaces, TCP/IP and pneumatic elements are integrated in the unit.

No. The necessary hardware and software are integrated in the unit and meet industrial standard. The electrical build-up around it is no longer required.
It regulates. On the air side the controller evaluates the actual pressure value, so this is not plain feedforward. The drives are monitored and controlled through encoders, which makes the motion control a closed loop.
The response is freely parameterised. The process can stop, branch or switch an output, depending on what the application calls for.
Open Dynamic Control for motor driven movement, Flow&Go® for volumetric measurement, Program Link for chaining programs, Watchdog Control for event driven jumps and Connectivity for communication over TCP/IP and RS232. The base unit stays the same throughout.
