C100-4.0® Open Dynamic Control
Open Dynamic Control (ODC) extends the C100-4.0® with motor driven movement. Linear axes, rotary axes and volumetric mechanisms become part of the program sequence, with the desired movement entered directly in the target unit. Brushed DC motors and stepper motors in microstepping are supported.

Volumetric dispensing with a fixed ratio between motor revolution and volume, traversing linear axes, driving stirrers for mixing, and sequential processes built from these methods, simultaneously or one after another. Inputs can be monitored and evaluated within the program.
The second control layer with its wiring and the task of synchronising the two worlds. The movement sits in the same sequence that also handles pressure and inputs or outputs.
The method subdivides the full step and allows high accuracy on very small movements in the µm range without giving up the ability to travel far. There is no upper limit for the distance, and the accuracy holds across the whole travel.
