Transparent cartridges show the fill level and any air inclusions from the outside. That helps when filling, when purging air and when judging whether the medium still reaches the piston. For light sensitive media this version is not suitable.

Anything that reacts to light. Light curing adhesives start to cross link inside the reservoir as soon as daylight or stray light from the curing lamp reaches them. For those there is the shielded version for UV applications.
