Yes. The sealing surface of the cartridge adapter wears through use and repeated fitting to the cartridge. If dispensing variation increases, the condition of the cartridge adapter should therefore be checked before pressure or dispensing time is adjusted.
The cartridge adapter seals on a defined diameter and is therefore matched to the cartridge size. In addition, the connection of the cartridge adapter must match the hose or dispensing unit being used.
A leak at the cartridge adapter does not necessarily appear as a visible leak but can show up as variation in dispensing. The set pressure builds more slowly and the first shot after a pause may be smaller.
