The 2K dispensers of the eco-DUO family feed both components separately and volumetrically up to the mixer. The mixing ratio is formed by two independently driven volumes and therefore holds even when viscosity varies. Available are the eco-DUO330, eco-DUO450 and eco-DUO600.

That is exactly where volumetric feeding pays off. Resin and hardener may differ clearly in viscosity, the ratio holds because each component displaces its own volume. With time pressure systems the ratio drifts as soon as one component thickens.
Because the mixing ratio decides curing and final strength. Two separate volumetric feeds hold the ratio mechanically instead of estimating it through pressures. Mixing happens only in the mixing tube, right before the point of application.
