The EDG50® is the dispensing unit from H. Sigrist & Partner AG for liquids and pastes from a cartridge or syringe. It sets pressure and opening time and works together with the consumables and valves from the range. Selection follows medium, shot size and cycle time.

The medium with its viscosity, the amount per dot or bead, the required tolerance and the cycle time. That is enough to say whether the EDG50® fits or whether the tolerance calls for volumetric dispensing.
A container with a matching adapter, a dispensing tip and the trigger, either a foot pedal or a control signal. All four parts influence the amount dispensed. The tip is the most effective variable, not the pressure.
For repeatable dispensing of liquids and pastes at the bench or in an automated cell. The unit controls pressure and opening time, the medium comes from a cartridge, a syringe or a pressure tank.
